皮膚 SKIN

皮膚是覆蓋在人或動物身體表面的多層薄組織。它是一種各向異性、非線性、粘彈性材料。它主要由膠原纖維和彈性蛋白纖維組成的網狀結構，允許高水平的變形。研究皮膚的力學性質，了解皮膚在體內的結構功能、病理對皮膚力學及相關臨床問題的影響、新型組織工程支架的研制、化妝品及抗衰老產品的功效試驗、皮膚生理學研究。

Skin is a thin multilayered tissue covering the surface of the body of a person or animal. It is an anisotropic, non-linear and viscoelastic material. It is mainly composed of a network of collagen and elastin fibers which allows for high levels of deformation. The mechanical properties of skin are studied to learn about: its structural function in the body, the effects of pathologies on skin mechanics and related clinical issues, development of new tissue-engineered scaffolds, efficacy tests of cosmetics and anti-aging products, research in skin physiology.
