The Agilent / HP 86060A lightwave switch provides easy signal routing fro accurate and repeatable measurement automation. Features include easy to use manual interfaces and visual signal routing displays. The interfaces allow manual operation for initially setting up a measurement or fro quick investigation of test device performance. Selected switch positions can be saved and recalled. Integration into automatic test systems is accomplished with SCPI commands VIA HPIB. These switches are designed for single mode 9/125 micron operation. Switching is bidirectional; 1 x N （4, 8 ,25 ,50 , or 100） switch modules are built around a precision stepper motor
