The DAKOTA ULTRASONICS MX-5 Wall Thickness Gauge accurately measures wall thickness and the extent of corrosion of all metals, ceramics, glass and most rigid plastics - from only one side!

The MX-5 can be used in a Single Thickness Reading mode or in a Scan mode , where the probe is dragged over a large measuring area. The minimum thickness reading recorded during the "scan" will be displayed.

The MX-5 probe is waterproof and can be submerged in water. The gauge is impact-resistant and environmentally sealed to provide trouble-free operation under the toughest field conditions.

超聲波測厚儀是根據(jù)超聲波脈沖反射原理來進行厚度測量的，當探頭發(fā)射的超聲波脈沖通過被測物體到達材料分界面時，脈沖被反射回探頭通過精確測量超聲波在材料中傳播的時間來確定被測材料的厚度。凡能使超聲波以一恒定速度在其內(nèi)部傳播的各種材料均可采用此原理測量?；诔暡y量原理，可以測量金屬及其它多種材料的厚度，并可以對材料的聲速進行測量?？梢詫ιa(chǎn)設備中各種管道和壓力容器進行厚度測量，監(jiān)測它們在使用過程中受腐蝕后的減薄程度。

美國Dakota MX-5DL手持式超聲波測厚儀是一種可信賴的精密測量工具，無需特別培訓即可操作。將探頭放到被測材料的上面，就可讀出被測材料的厚度，或是沿被測材料的表面拖動探頭，測厚儀可以自動找出被測材料的點。除了以上功能外，還新增了下列功能：

l  報警功能：如果測量值小于你輸入最小允許值，紅燈亮并有聲音報警，綠燈亮表示測量在允許范圍內(nèi)。

l  差值方式：顯示測量值與預先設定值的差值。

l  RS232口：輸出數(shù)據(jù)到打印機或計算機。
