AAT Bioquest-XFD488化學(xué)結(jié)構(gòu)與Alexa Fluor®488相同(Alexa Fluor™是ThermoFisher的商標(biāo))。麥胚凝集素(WGA)是一種與N-乙酰-D-葡糖胺和唾液酸結(jié)合的凝集素。由于其生物學(xué)應(yīng)用,它是研究最多、最有用的凝集素之一。由于WGA與糖復(fù)合物結(jié)合,其衍生物和偶聯(lián)物被廣泛用于標(biāo)記細(xì)胞膜和纖維化瘢痕組織,用于熒光成像和分析。WGA的碳水化合物結(jié)合特異性針對β-1,4-GlcNAc連接的殘基序列,即殼聚糖。每個單體包含兩個相同的、不相互作用的結(jié)合位點,它們與34個β-1,4-GlcNAc單元互補。在所研究的單糖中,只有GlcNAcWGA結(jié)合。ManNAc不結(jié)合,GalNAc只弱結(jié)合。WGAXFD488共軛物相當(dāng)于WGAAlexa Fluor®488共軛物。它表現(xiàn)出明亮的綠色熒光。XFD488 WGA綴合物與唾液酸和N-乙酰氨基葡萄糖殘基結(jié)合。
