These tests method were developed by ISTA in cooperation with Amazon.com to evaluate individual packages to suit their own purposes and handling logistics.
 
It is subdivided in six types of packaged products: Type “A” through Type “F” depending on their:
> Shipment Method (Parcel delivery of individual packaged products, or LTL delivery of individual packages product).
> Handling Method (Standard Handling or Pallet Handling).
> Weight (Less than 50 lbs, 50 to 100 lbs, over 100 lbs).
 
SAFELOAD offers a set of testing devices to simulate testing procedures described in the standard:
innPress: SF-CM25/2000
Electrical machine
Maximum compression force up to 25kN
Stroke up to 2000 mm
Testing table 1000×1000 mm2
Variable compression speed: 0.1-200 mm/min
Load accuracy: <0.5%
Position accuracy: <0.1 mm
Testing data in real time
Can be installed inside climatic chamber
