生活史較復(fù)雜，發(fā)病過程長。臨床癥狀復(fù)雜多樣，輕者無癥狀，重者出現(xiàn)小腸和結(jié)腸的潰瘍性愮炎，甚至引起患者死亡。中本蟲感染率在10％左右。糞類圓線蟲輕度感染時的致病作用比較輕微，但因此蟲能引起自身感染，重度感染時可致息患者死亡，故此蟲的致病作用已漸引起重視。蟲體在人體內(nèi)移行或寄生于不同部位時所引起的病理變化不同。一肛周皮膚病變：當幼蟲侵入肛門周圍皮膚后，可引起小出血點、丘疹及水腫，搔破后可伴有繼發(fā)性細菌感染。此外，在肛門周圍皮膚還常出現(xiàn)移行線狀或帶狀蕁麻疹并可持續(xù)數(shù)周。述病變亦可見于腹股溝、臀部等處。二腸道病變：糞類圓線蟲引起的腸道病變可分類輕度、中度、重度3型。輕度的主要特征為卡他性腸炎，腸粘膜充血，有小出血點及潰瘍。光鏡下可見嗜酸性粒細胞及單核細胞浸潤，腸腺凹中有糞類圓線蟲存在。中度的特征為水腫性腸炎，腸壁增厚、水腫，粘膜皺襞減少。光鏡下可見腸絨毛擴大，粘膜萎縮及粘膜下水腫，在腸壁各層都可發(fā)現(xiàn)蟲體。重膜出現(xiàn)出血、糜爛、潰瘍、淋巴濾泡腫大甚至發(fā)生腸穿孔。

The main features of mildness are catarrhal enteritis, intestinal mucosal hyperemia, small bleeding points and ulcers. Eosinophils and mononuclear cells were infiltrated by light microscopy, and roundworms were present in the intestinal glands. Moderate edematitis is characterized by thickened intestinal wall, edema, and reduced mucosal folds. Under the light microscope, intestinal villi enlargement, mucosal atrophy and submucosal edema were observed, and parasites were found in each layer of the intestinal wall. Heavy film bleeding, erosion, ulceration, lymphoid follicle enlargement, or even intestinal perforation.
